Lauren (Vet Tech)
A graduate from Clay Chalkville High school, Lauren is currently studying to be a licensed veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her friends and her dog, Ellie. In addition to Ellie, Lauren also has 4 other dogs at home as well as a hedgehog. WAR EAGLE!!
Delaney (Vet Assistant)
Delaney is a graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School. She enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors. She has a dog named Natty.
Ashlyn (Vet Assistant)
Ashlyn is a graduate of Springville High School and current student at Jeff State. She has 6 dogs, Ricky, Boomer, Gunner, Nash, Sophie and Logan. She enjoys her time spent with friends and family.
Mary Beth (Vet Assistant)
Mary Beth is a graduate of Hewitt- Trussville High School and student at UAB. She has two dogs, Lucky and Spike, and enjoys spending her spare time outdoors. She enjoys school and her time spent at the clinic and with her family and friends.
Liz (Office Manager)
Liz is a graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School and current student at Jeff State, studying to be a veterinary technician. Her dog, Paisley, is frequently in the front office with her. In addition to Paisley, Liz has two cats, Sophie and Luna, and a hamster named Zeus who lives in the front office at the clinic. In her spare time, Liz enjoys serving at her church, shopping, and exploring the outdoors. Although she seems to be out numbered at work, she can't help but add a big ROLL TIDE!
Dr. Tom Dawkins, Veterinarian, Owner
Dr. Dawkins is a Birmingham native who graduated from Shades Valley High School in 1967. He faithfully served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-1971. In 1978, he graduated from Auburn University with his DVM degree. Tom has been happily married to his wife JoAnne since 1968 and has a daughter, Mary Anne, and two grandchildren, Britney and Jake. Dr. Dawkins has served on the Alabama VMA as a board member for five years, and was president of the Jefferson County VMA from 1992 to 1993, and again from 2010 to 2011. He was a member of the Birmingham Racing Commission from 2002 to 2007. He was a former member of Alabama Academy of Veterinary Practitioners. He was listed as an honored proffesional of the National Directory of Who's Who of executives and professionals in 1998 and 1999. He currently holds the position as Jefferson County Rabies officer. Dr. Dawkins is an avid outdoorsman. His interests include bass fishing, quail and deer hunting, as well as golf and farming. Dr. Dawkins is a member of Holy Infant Church and an Auburn fan (War Eagle).
